Statewide Support Services

As leaders in education for the vision impaired we provide a range of services to students and children living with significant vision impairment.

At SASSVI, we are proud to offer a range of Statewide Support Services (SSS) to support students with disabilities in their educational journey. Our highly experienced Advisory Teachers provide specialised support for children with vision impairment, helping them navigate various educational settings and access the curriculum with ease. Whether in the classroom or beyond, our team is dedicated to ensuring that every student has the support they need to succeed.

Advisory Teachers provide support for children .

SSS at SASSVI provides vital support for students with vision impairment who require assistance to fully participate in the curriculum. Our team works closely with students, teachers, and families to develop individualised plans that meet each student’s unique needs and goals. From adapting learning materials to providing Access Technology, we are committed to providing the best possible support for our students.

For students with vision impairment, accessing educational materials and participating in learning activities can be a challenge. That’s why at SASSVI, we offer state-wide services to help students overcome these obstacles and thrive academically. Our experienced Advisory Teachers in the SSS team work tirelessly to provide the tools and support needed to help our students reach their full potential.
