Welcome to SA School and Services for Vision Impaired.

Community lies at the heart of SASSVI.

With the collaboration of families and the design of both the Australian Curriculum and the Expanded Core Curriculum for Students who are blind or vision impaired we develop and deliver a personalised and differentiated curriculum for all students.

Our vision statement – leaders in education for the vision impaired drives our practice. We foster a culture of excellence within nurturing and dynamic learning programs. Our dedicated staff bring a wealth of experience and provide relevant and high quality practice across our school and services.

Curriculum

SASSVI students participate in age appropriate use of the Australian Curriculum as well as the Expanded Core Curriculum. All our students have a One Plan which supports them to reach their learning potential.

Acknowledgment of Country
