The governing council comprises four parent members who each serve a term of two years. Prior to the SASSVI Annual General Meeting, parents are invited to nominate for a position on the governing council.
The applications are presented at the AGM, after which the positions are decided by a vote of the parent attendees at the meeting. The selection process considers the skills and experience that best meet the needs of the governing council.
All parents are invited to attend the AGM and are eligible to vote for the governing council members.
